Homage to Karma • 2002 – 2008

Karma was Dr. Marcil’s Irish Wolfhound — her constant companion, lovingly referred to as her “shadow.”

Karma couldn’t easily be missed. She was charcoal grey and resembled an enormous Jim Hansen Muppet. While Karma could usually be found reclining in Dr. Marcil’s office, should you have happenned by at lunch, or near the end of the day, you might have caught her patrolling the hallways. Karma had a calm, gentle, and affectionate nature and was loved by all. On occassion, she would save lives by donating blood, and was known to comfort a sick dog by keeping it company.

Thank you Karma. We won’t forget you.
