Dental Care

Pets require regular dental care, just like people. Our four-legged friends are prone to developing certain diseases and health problems if their oral health is neglected.

What kind of dental care does the clinic offer?

We offer scaling, polishing and tooth extraction services. During a dental exam, the veterinarian will look at your pet’s mouth and teeth to identify an oral health issues, such as gingivitis, tooth resorption, cracked or abscessed teeth, etc. The veterinarian will then create a personalized treatment plan for your animal.

How does poor oral hygiene impact my pet?

Poor oral hygiene (mouth and teeth) can lead to numerous problems:

  • Bad breath
  • Infections
  • Tooth abscess
  • Tooth loss
  • Difficulty eating
  • Periodontal disease

How do I take care of my pet’s oral health at home?

The best way to ensure your pet maintains a healthy mouth and teeth is to brush its teeth daily with a finger toothbrush and pet toothpaste.

Dental treats and food are also an excellent way to maintain oral health, since they help clean canine and feline teeth as they chew, while removing tartar at the same time.
