Veterinary Examinations

Regular checkups are an excellent way to keep tabs on your pet’s health. Visiting your veterinarian regularly can prevent the onset of certain diseases and treat any known conditions.

What happens during a veterinary examination?

The goal of an examination is to check your pet’s health. This might be to address a health concern that has cropped up, to follow up on an already diagnosed disease or condition, or simply to make sure your animal is in optimal health during a routine checkup.

Your veterinarian will carry out a physically exam, checking your pet’s bone structure, mouth, teeth, ears and eyes, and temperature.
Additional tests, such as blood work, X-rays and ultrasounds may also be required to complete the examination.
